Live Baccarat

Live Baccarat is the hugely popular live casino game favoured by high-rollers.

Interact with our live dealers as you choose to bet on either your hand or the dealer’s as you look to find the hand that totals closest to nine. You also have the option to bet on the tie, which offers odds of 8/1.

Another bet on offer in Live Baccarat is the ‘Pairs’ side bet, which pays out at 11/1 if the first two cards drawn make up a pair.

Our Live Casino hub also offers Multi-Game Play, a feature that allows players to play on up to four different tables at the same time. You will even be able to view all of the games in the same browser window.

    Live Baccarat Game Overview

Two hands are dealt in Live Baccarat - the Banker’s hand and the Dealer’s hand.

Prior to each deal, the player wagers on whether their hand or the Banker’s hand will be closest to a total of 9. The player also has the option to wager on the tie - meaning that both hands have the same value.

A total of eight decks of 52 cards are used in each game of Baccarat.

Clicking on the different areas of the table will place your various bets. Each click on a position will add another chip to your bet.

Repeat - Click the ‘Repeat button to automatically place the same bets in this round.

Double - After clicking ‘Repeat’, you will be given the option to automatically double your stake.

Undo - Clicking ‘Undo’ will remove your chips from the table one-by-one.

After the betting time period has expired in Live Baccarat, the Player and Banker are each dealt two cards.

After these first two cards are dealt to each hand, the Third Card Rule (see below) will determine if a third card needs to be dealt. No hand will receive more than three cards.

If both hands equal the same total then the hand is declared a Tie and any bets on that will be paid out.

If the value of the cards in either hand on the first two cards is 0 to 7 inclusive, the hands shall draw in accordance with the ‘Third Card Rules’.

    Third Card Rules

For the Player’s hand to draw the two cards must total:

    0-5 – Player’s hand must draw

    6-7 – Player’s hand must stand

8-9 – ‘Natural’ (both hands stand)

For the Banker’s hand to draw the two cards must total –

    0-2 – Banker’s hand must draw

3-6 – Third card to Player’s hand determines draw or stand

    7 – Banker’s hand must stand

8-9 – ‘Natural’ (both hands stand)

    Multi-Game Play

If you enjoy non-stop action, you can join up to four different game tables at the same time and view them all in the same browser window.

After you have joined multiple tables, you will be able to resize your browser window as a whole, but you will not be able to resize each game table window separately.

You can chat with the dealer and other players while you play on Live Roulette. Enter your message in the ‘Click to Chat’ field and press ‘Enter’ to send your message.

If the box is not already shown in the full display, you will be able to use the ‘Chat’ button to enlarge it.

    Return to Player (RTP)

The optimal theoretical payout percentage is:

    Baccarat - 98.94%

    Pairs - 89.64%

The expected return is the amount we pay out to players relative to the amount of wagering on the game.

For example, if we take £100 of wagers we will, on average pay out £98.94 of wins on Baccarat, and 89.64% in Pairs.
