181 Virgin Poker players made their way to the spectacular Loose Cannons cardroom in central London in September for the 4th Virgin Poker Festival.
As usual by bar was already very busy by 11am on Saturday morning and the addition of Mario Kart to the Wii Challenge certainly seemed very popular.
At the poker tables we had two of our biggest names taking part with two time WSOP bracelet winner Mel Judah and online pro Brain ‘sbrugby’ Townsend both sitting down at the tables. A note worth making is that despite both players taking early trips to the rail at Loose Cannons they both subsequently cashed in the WSOPE main event the following week. Now we’re not saying that the Virgin Poker Festivals are of a better standard than the WSOPE but…………
When we did finally get down to the Final Table on Sunday evening it was a very tense affair and the top three had a monster battle for the top prizes before Canadian Niels Rock finally took the crown.
