Final Table Deal
Our new "Tournament Deal" feature allows players who are at the
final table to accept a proposed deal to end the tournament
early.
A "Tournament Deal" ballout box appears in the lower left area
of the game screen when a deal is available. (see image below).

To accept the deal all you need to do is tick the ballot box at
any point. As long as all remaining players have not ticked the
ballout box, a player can change their mind (untick and retick).
However, the moment all remaining players have ticked the box, the
current hand will be played out and a deal will be proposed to each
player in a pop-up window. (see image below)

The deal amount offered to each player reflects their remaining
chip stack and what is remaining in the prize pot. The above
pop-up will display for a default of 45 seconds, Players then have
this time to accept the deal or reject it.
If the time runs out before all players have accepted it or a
player has rejected it the pop-up will expire and the next hand on
the table will begin. with the ballot box unticked for all players
again.
Know Thy Opponent
We know that you don't always want to play against players
of the same level, some times you want a challenge. The problem is
how do you remember the playing styles and levels of a former
opponent.
Well know you can allocate opponents a catergory, and even write
notes regarding what you've learnt about them. (see image
below)

This will then give the chosen player a colour coded background
on their nickname. the categories range from Shark-Fish. Red=Shark,
Medium=Blue, Fish=Green None=White.(see image below)

Hand Replay
We're also adding a replay feature, allowing you to replay
previous hands. simply by clicking the REPLAY button in the menu
from any open table to view a replay of a hand complete at that
table during the current game session.
After selecting REPLAY a greyscale window will appear (like the
image below), where all hands completed during the game session are
listed, starting with the most recent.

You can also view a replay of any completed hand from any game
session by clicking on the HAND HISTORY buttion under the "Support"
tab in the lobby. You can locate a hand of particular interest to
reply by choosing the Yeat, month and Date of the game session as
well as the table (GameType/Game) at which the hand was played.
Changes to Cash Tables
It has been a long time coming, but as you maybe aware we have
beening running a combination of 5/6 and 9/10 seat cash tables.
However we have phased out the 5/10 seat cash tables in order to
make room for more 6/9 seat cash tables.
This means that there will be more tables being played, less
tables breaking and an increase in the number of flops seen. So in
short more players for you to play against and more chances of
winning.

Auto Rebuy in Cash Games.
A sufficient table balance gives each player more flexibility to
play according to set strategies or to follow hunches.
Most seasoned no limit and pot limit poker players prefer to have
the maximum amount of money available to play with at the
table.
The new Auto Rebuy function will allow players to quickly and
conveniently reload their chip stack. Under the settings tab within
personal settings players will be able to either enable or disable
the "Auto Rebuy" function for no-limit and pot-limit games.
When enabled the auto rebuy will automatically top-up a players
table balance from their account whenever his/her balance drops
below the sum of three big blinds.
It can be set to reload with the maximum buy-in, the minimum
buy-in or the players initial buy-in amount.
Although enabled in the lobby, players will still need to enable
the auto rebuy function at each table. However if responsible
gaming limits are exceeded or a player has insufficient funds in
their account the rebuy will not happen.
Auto Rebuy and Add-On in MTT's
The Auto Rebuy and Add-On features can be used in multi table
tournaments (MTT's) which permit Rebuys and Add-On's. When
the rebuy feature is enabled, eligible players are automatically
asked if they want to re-buy if they are running low on chips and
still within the re-buy period. The player will need to click
to confirm. The same applies at the end of the period for the
auto add-on.
Exclusive "1 Only" Tables
As a courtesy to novice and less-skilful poker players who may
wish to congregate to play with each other, rather than risk
becoming prey to more advanced players who normally play at
multiple tables simultaneously.
Certain cash game tables can be reserved and tagged so as to
only allow players that are not currently seated at any other cash
game tables. If a player who is simultaneously seated at one or
more other cash tables tries to join a table that has been tagged
as "1 Only" the player will be denied a seat until he or she has
left all other cash game tables.
Cashout your chips
Our new cashout feature can be permitted in MTTs that do not
allow late registration, rebuy or add-on. This new feature will
allow players in a tournament to drop out early and exchange any
remaining chips for money. This will allow players to new players
to test the tournament waters!
The Cashout payment will be calculated as follows: Cash-out
payment= No. of remaining chips x (buy-in amount ÷ No. of initial
chips)
For example if a player starts a tournament with 1500 chips, and
the buy-in amount is $10 (+$2 rake), the value of each chip is 10 ÷
1500= 0.667 cent. If the cashes out 1000 chips, a total of $6.67 is
credited to the player's account immediately or at the end of the
tournament.
When the player clicks the Cashout button, they receive a pop up
confirmation message.
When the tournament starts, the maximum amount of Cashout money
available is shown as a percentage of the prize pot in the
"Tournament info Screen"
Preferred Layout of Tables
From now on players can determine the layout of tables according
to their prefernces in the "Personal Settings" area of the lobby.
Once a preference regarding the display of multiple tables has been
selected (tile, cascade or none), all tables that the player is
active in and any new tables they open will display with that
layout.
Deposit on Tournament Registration
The "REGISTER" button for single and multi-table tournaments now
remains active, even when the player's account balance is too low
to cover the cost of the buy-in. When a player with insufficient
funds clicks the "REGISTER" button, a pop-up will appear informing
the player and a button to direct them to the cashier
application.
October 25th, 2011
The first of which is Late Registrations.
The rules on late registrations have changed. Apart from
heads-up and shootout tournaments, late registrations will be
permitted in all MTT's. Tournaments that have started but are still
permitting late registrations will be indicated by the status "Late
Reg" in the lobby.
There are some restrictions to late registrations. Later
registrations will only be permitted until:
- A time limited is reached
- The first player is eliminated
- A blind level is reached
- The maximum tournament capacity is reached
- The first-place winner and next 10 runners-up have been
determined.
After which no more players can enter the tournament. The system
will always attempt to distribute late registrations evenly among
existing table, before opening new tables. If new tables are opened
to accommodate late registrations, some players may be moved to
even out numbers across all tables.
Synchronised Breaks in Cash Games
Before only tournament players were able to sync their breaks,
allowing them to take a breather, but now cash game players will
also be able to step away from their computers. Synchronised breaks
make playing in two or more games a lot easier.
Scheduled breaks will be set to begin at an approximate
specified time. But there's no problem if you're in the middle of a
hand. The break will officially begin when the hands are finished
on all tables that are in the same break. For example if the break
is scheduled for 11.00-11.05 the break will start once the last
round on the synchronised schedule has been played out, ensuring
all players get a minimum of 5 minutes.
The approximate starting time and duration of the next break is
displayed to players in the top right corner of the game
screen:

A clock icon is also visible at all cash tables with
synchronized breaks.
How About a Rematch
From now on players that complete a Sit & Go heads up
tournament will immediately be given the opportunity to have a
rematch in another tournament of the same type.
A pop-up message similar the ones below will display:

If both players click YES, a tournament will be created and
another message confirming the tournament and the deduction of the
buy-in and registration fee.
However if only one player clicks YES, they recieve a message
similar to the one below:

Players only have ten seconds to respond before the message is
dismissed.
Tournament Info Display
Tournament information will now be displayed directly on the
tables, as well as the lobby, in both single-table and multi-table
tournaments. Allowing players to stay updated without having to
visit the lobby each time.
New Menu Button
Another useful addition to the Virgin Poker play is the new
'Ranking' button to be added to the main menu available to
tournament players.

The button will only be active during the tournament. When a
player clicks on it, a new window will open and show the chip count
and positions for the fifty highest-ranking participants. The
player's own position will be highlighted in bold.
