Introduction
Captain Cannon's Circus Slot is a 5-reel 25-line slot machine
game based on a Circus theme. The game features wild symbols,
Freespins, a progressive jackpot and 9 bonus rounds (3 in-reel
bonus rounds, 3 'pick a win' bonus rounds and 3 bonus rounds where
the progressive jackpot can be triggered).
Getting Started
- Press the '+' and '-' buttons to choose a total stake.
- This game is fixed to always be 25 lines and the total stake is
split evenly between each of those lines.
- The total amount you have staked will be shown in the stake box
at the bottom left of the screen.
- Click on the 'PAYTABLE' button to view the paytable, which
shows the potential winnings for each reel combination, scatters,
bonuses etc. You can also hover the mouse cursor over one of the
symbols on the reels to see the payouts for that symbol.
How To Play
- Press 'SPIN' to start the game (or press the spacebar on your
keyboard).
- The reels will spin and eventually stop at random. (You can
press spin again to speed up the reels and animations so they
finish a bit sooner).
- If the combination of symbols appearing on the reels forms a
line of 3, 4 or 5 matching symbols (starting from the left) on one
of the 25 win lines in play, then you win. Any winning lines you
have will be highlighted and your winnings will be credited to your
account balance.
- Line wins are multiplied by your stake per line (which is your
total stake divided by 25).
- There are 5 lights at the bottom of the reels labelled (B,O,N,U
and S). On each spin (except for Freespins) a random number of
these lights could light up (this is not linked to the reels at
all).
- Lights are all turned off at the start of each spin (lights
don't get held over spins).
- If all 5 of these light up on a single spin then the bonus
selection hammer will be triggered.
Wild Symbols
- Wild symbols can substitute for any other symbol to help form
wins.
- Wild symbols cannot form a win themselves, only help create
line wins with other symbols. Bonus Selection
- When all 5 bonus letters are triggered then after all wins on
the reels have been paid a hammer will hit the feature ladder
button.
- The feature ladder trail will then light up from lowest to
highest and the highest bonus that gets lit will be the bonus that
is selected.
- There are 3 main types of bonus - In-reel bonus rounds, caravan
bonus rounds and main event bonus rounds.
- The amount awarded in each bonus is random but generally the
higher the bonus on the feature ladder then the higher the payouts
will be.
In-Reel Bonus Rounds
Each of these 3 bonus rounds modify the current reels and add
new Wild symbols to help create new line wins. After that all line
wins are paid (so if there were already line wins then they will
get paid again as well as new wins).
Fire Breather
- A fire breather will move backwards and forwards at random
along the bottom of the 5 reels.
- Eventually he will stop and blow flames up over a reel, making
that reel turn to all Wild symbols.
- He could turn one, two or even three reels all wild. It does
not make a difference if a symbol is already wild on a reel being
changed. (There is no x2 Wild at all).
- After that he will disappear and the line wins will be
calculated and awarded in the same way as for the normal game.
Lion Tamer
- When this bonus comes into play the lion tamer will appear from
the side of the reels and crack her whip.
- She will whip a symbol on the reels and turn it wild. She can
whip 1,2,3,4 or 5 different symbols but will not whip one that is
already a wild.
- After that she will disappear and the line wins will be
calculated and awarded in the same way as for the normal game.
Rampaging Elephant
- An elephant will knock into the reels, one by one knocking out
some of the symbols.
- The remaining symbols will drop to the bottom of the reels and
new symbols will drop down.
- The new symbols are random and from reels that contain more
wilds than the standard reels so more win lines can be formed.
- All line wins are then calculated again and paid to the
player.
Caravan Side Show Bonus Rounds
Each of these 3 bonus rounds is played in the Side Show Caravan
and they all allow you to make different selections to pick which
character/item you think will have the best win. All wins have
already been multiplied by your total stake.
Bearded Lady
- Once the caravan curtain has been opened two mysterious bearded
ladies are shown. One of them has a beauty hiding behind the beard
and the other one doesn't.
- Both characters will have a random win value assigned to them
but the beauty will be a higher win.
- You need to select one of these and then that character will be
shaved to show if they are the beauty or not.
- Afterwards the other character will also be shaved to show what
you could have won if you had selected them.
- Your winnings will then be added to your account and the game
will return to the reels.
Strongman Contest
- Once the caravan curtain has been opened you will see 3
strongmen flexing whilst waiting to lift their weights.
- You need to select 1 of these strongmen and then they will all
start to lift their weights.
- As the selected character lifts his weights a prize above their
head will begin to count up. The longer they keep the weight aloft
the bigger the prize will get.
- The 3 strongmen will vary in their capabilities for lifting and
after they have all finished you will see the win for the one you
selected. This will then be added to your balance and you will also
see what you could have won for the other Strongmen.
Knife Thrower
- Once the curtains have opened you will see an assistant
surrounded by several balloons.
- These balloons will be hiding either cash amounts behind them
or will award extra throws.
- You start with 5 throws and need to click on a balloon to
select it.
- The number of throws remaining (and the amount won so far) is
shown at the bottom of the screen.
- After each pick the knife will be thrown to pop the selected
balloon and award the win shown behind.
- This will continue until all throws are used up.
- The total of all the wins for the popped balloons will then be
added up and added to your balance.
- After finishing the game the value of the remaining balloons
will then be shown as well.
Main Event Bonus Rounds
These are the bonus rounds that have the highest payouts on
average. The progressive jackpot can be won in any of these 3 bonus
rounds if the gold clown appears on the screen during the bonus.
All wins have already been multiplied by your total stake.
Clown Car and Freespins
- A small clown car drives up into the circus arena and screeches
to a halt.
- The car is filled with clowns and they will come out of the car
one by one - each having a balloon which has a prize on it.
- Pink Balloons award Freespins, Green balloons increase your
multiplier for all Freespins line wins.
- The values for each balloon are added together in two separate
totals to get a total number of Freespins and total
multiplier.
- PROGRESSIVE: If a gold clown comes out of the car then the
progressive jackpot will be won.
- When the progressive is won there will be a congratulations
message and then the bonus will continue. The progressive winnings
will not be paid out until the bonus has finished.
- Once all the clowns are all out and the summary screen has been
shown then the game will go back to the main reels and start the
Freespins.
- Freespins are played automatically (no user interaction is
required).
- Freespins use a different set of reels to the normal game.
- Bonuses cannot be triggered whilst in the midst of Freespins -
the bonus lights will not light up at all.
Tightrope Motor Bear
- A Daredevil Bear is about to ride a motorbike across a
tightrope. The further he goes the more you win.
- Each time you press go the bear will rev the bike and move
between 1 and 6 places along the trail.
- This will continue until the rev counter breaks and the bear
has to stop. At this point you are awarded the prize that he
reached.
- If the bear reaches the end then he will be joined by a clown
on his return journey who can reach the higher cash awards.
- PROGRESSIVE: If the golden clown is dangling from one of the
cash bags then you are awarded the jackpot.
- When the progressive is won there will be a congratulations
message and the ticker will flash to show how much the player has
won and then the bonus will continue. The progressive winnings will
not be paid out until the bonus has finished.
Captain Cannon Bonus
- Captain Cannon will climb into a cannon and then get fired off
and collide with objects on his journey.
- Each object he collides with will award a prize and will also
either speed him up or slow him down (He also gets awards for
flying through rings).
- At the start you are shown a cannon moving up and down, press
fire when it is at your chosen trajectory and then he will shoot
off.
- Once he collides with a water barrel he comes to a complete
stop and the bonus ends and the total winnings are then
awarded.
- PROGRESSIVE: If Captain Cannon flies past a golden clown
swinging from a balloon then they win the progressive jackpot.
- When the progressive is won there will be a congratulations
message and the ticker will flash to show how much the player has
won and then the bonus will continue. The progressive winnings will
not be paid out until the bonus has finished.
Progressive Jackpots
- A percentage of all bets placed is put towards the jackpot
balance and into a reseed fund. When the jackpot is won, it is
reset to the balance stored in the reseed fund.
- When the jackpot is won all other players will be notified
within 30 seconds by the flashing of the jackpot balance.
- Bets placed when the jackpot has been won and a reduced balance
is available will be voided.
- Due to communication delays two players may nevertheless appear
to win the jackpot simultaneously. In this case the first payout
will be for the full jackpot value, whilst the second player will
receive the reseed value.
Auto Play
There is an auto play function available that will start each
spin automatically until either something occurs that requires your
intervention or the number of set spins expires. Select your
desired number of spins using the increase and decrease buttons.
Click 'Stop' to cancel auto play.
General Notes
The game has a return to player of 95%. System malfunction voids
all pay and plays.
