What Is JavaScript?
In a nutshell, JavaScript is a script language run by your browser. We use JavaScript
to help run our games so you cannot play games at Virgin Bingo without having
it turned on. That's 'enabled' in geek speak.
JavaScript is normally enabled by default when a browser is installed. To help you
quickly assess whether your JavaScript is enabled we've done a quick check of your
browser settings for you, see below.

How to enable JavaScript in your browser
If you want to check yourself whether your JavaScript is enabled, please select your browser from the following list and follow the instructions.
Enabling JavaScript in Internet Explorer 5.0 and above (Windows):
- Open the Tools menu.
- Select Internet Options ..., to open the Internet Options dialog box.
- Click the Security tab.
- Click the Internet symbol (a globe).
- Click the Custom Level ... button, to open the Security Settings dialog box.
- In the Settings list, scroll down to Scripting.

Under Active Scripting, click Enable, so that a dot appears next to it.

- (If you are unsure about the other Security Settings, please check with your Network Administrator.)
- Click OK to close the Security Settings dialog box.
- Click Yes in the Warning! message box.
- Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.
- Now click here to get into the action at the Virgin Bingo!
Enabling JavaScript in Firefox (Windows or Mac):
- Open the Tools menu.
- Select Options ..., to open the Options dialog box.
- In the list of coloured icons on the left, click Web Features.

Click the check box to the left of "Enable JavaScript" so that a tick appears.

- Click OK to close the Options dialog box.
- Now click here to get into the action at the Virgin Bingo!
Enabling JavaScript in Netscape 7.1 and above and Mozilla 1.4 and above (Windows or Mac):
- Open the Edit menu.
- Select Preferences ..., to open the Preferences dialog box.
- In the Category list, click the triangle next to "Advanced" so that it points downwards.
- In the list of items beneath Advanced, click "Scripts & Plugins".

To the right of the list, beneath Enable JavaScript for, click "Navigator" so that a tick appears.

- Click OK to close the Preferences dialog box.
- Now click here to get into the action at the Virgin Bingo!
Enabling JavaScript in Opera 7.5 and above (Windows or Mac):
- Press the F12 key on your keyboard.

On the pop-up menu that appears, click "Enable JavaScript" so that a tick appears to the left.
Enabling JavaScript in Safari:
- On the Safari menu, select Preferences…
- In the Preferences dialog box, click the Security icon (a padlock).

- In the Web Content section, click the check box next to Enable JavaScript so that a tick appears.
- Click the red button at the top left to close the Preferences dialog box.
- Now click here to get into the action at the Virgin Bingo!
